Between 1990 and 1997, proclamations were received from the Federal Government and all the Provinces and Territories through which the AMVR passes. While these proclamations do not necessarily provide any long term protection for the Route, they do serve to recognise the Route's valuable heritage, and provide a platform on which to grow into the future.
